Team expansion across roles

We’re delighted that our team has expanded across all levels. Meet the newest members of our team Emily Sumners (Research Director), Melanie Rankin (Research Manager), Kate Shaul (Operations Manager) and Ben Walker (Senior Research Executive). We’ve also welcomed four new talented graduates.

Emily Sumners, Research Director

Emily brings 15 years of market expertise from conducted qual and quant research at every stage of the product lifecycle. With a BSc degree in psychology, she loves unpicking drivers of decision-making and behaviour, always with a solid focus on her clients’ business issues. Emily has a special interest in oncology research including lung, breast and haematological malignancies.

Melanie Rankin, Research Manager

Melanie is an experienced research manager with a passion for qualitative research, particularly moderating and developing methodologies for the modern day! Her background in science (more specifically biology) has served her well, giving her the ability to think analytically and to constantly question research approaches. Melanie was one of twenty across the globe to win the Confirmit 20 Young Researchers of the Year Award 2017!

Kate Shaul, Operations Manager (Pricing & Compliance)

Kate began her career 8 years ago in international pharmaceutical market research after graduating from Manchester University with a degree in Bioinformatics. She is an experienced fieldwork manager working across project management, recruitment, pricing and compliance. After spending some time away from the market research agency world, she realised her skills best suited operations. Kate has recently joined the BHBIA Ethics and Compliance Committee in the role of Secretary.

Ben Walker, Senior Research Executive

After completing a Pharmacology with Industrial Experience degree at the University of Manchester in 2016, Ben began a graduate job as a Research Executive in the North West. Adelphi’s reputation throughout the industry attracted Ben to join the global research team.
